STATELINE, NV, October 01, 2024 – Renowned for her expertise in corporate wellness and health coaching, Rowena M. Banks, founder of HR-Helper, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. This honor recognizes individuals for their outstanding professional achievements, visibility, and impact on their respective fields. With over 30 years of experience, Ms. Banks has demonstrated a deep commitment to promoting health and wellness through coaching programs that focus on improving employee well-being and organizational productivity.
As the founder of HR-Helper, a wellness-focused company, Rowena Banks has dedicated her career to helping businesses create healthier work environments. Her approach combines health coaching in areas such as exercise, stress management, sleep, and nutrition to support overall wellness for employees. Ms. Banks believes that improving employee well-being leads to happier, more productive workplaces.
Beyond coaching, she also manages HR-Helper’s marketing, finances, and legal operations, constantly adapting to the evolving nature of the health industry. Her dedication to continuous professional development keeps her on the cutting edge of corporate wellness.
Before establishing HR-Helper, Ms. Banks spent 28 years at the University of California as a finance and research administrator, managing large-scale financial operations and contributing to research initiatives. Her hard work and dedication were recognized when she received the prestigious Star Award from the University of California. This background in finance, combined with her passion for wellness, laid a strong foundation for her success in the health industry.
Ms. Banks also holds a Bachelor of Science in liberal studies from the National University in San Diego, which she earned in 2001. She attributes her success to her strong work ethic and desire to help others connect their lifestyle choices to better health outcomes. Her passion for health is rooted in her belief that preventive care can mitigate disease and improve quality of life.
One of Ms. Banks' core missions is to advocate for a healthier lifestyle as a preventive measure against diseases like type 2 diabetes. Approximately three years ago, she was alarmed by projections of a rise in diabetes cases in America by 2035, which fueled her desire to make a difference. Since then, promoting preventive health measures through diet, exercise, and wellness coaching has become a personal and professional mission for her.
In addition to her accomplishments in corporate wellness, Ms. Banks is a published author, having written two children's books: Surviving The Sierras and Not Again!, both part of the A Tale of Three Sisters series. She is also an active member of the California Women’s Leadership Association, an organization that supports the leadership and professional development of women in various industries.
Looking forward, Ms. Banks envisions the expansion of HR-Helper to reach businesses of all sizes, providing both group and individual health coaching. Her goal is to positively impact as many lives as possible by scaling her programs and reaching more employees in need of wellness support.
As a Master Certified Health Coach, Rowena Banks is committed to broadening HR-Helper’s impact. She plans to increase the number of health coaches at HR-Helper, allowing the company to serve even more organizations. By focusing on group wellness coaching and personalized health strategies, HR-Helper aims to help companies foster healthier work environments where employees can thrive.
Ms. Banks believes that health coaching is a vital part of supporting employees in achieving better work-life balance, reducing stress, and improving productivity.
